Concrete Masonry Laborer: 

Scranton Craftsmen is looking for self-motivated people to join our team to work in our precast concrete shop, maintain exterior grounds, assist skilled tradesmen in their duties, load and unload materials. Experience is preferred but willing to train the right people. The positions are 40+ hours per week, Monday thru Friday, 7 am – 3:30 pm with overtime available.

The list of duties and responsibilities for a laborer on any given day may include the following:

• Building and taking down concrete forms and temporary structures.
• Operating and tending machinery including overhead cranes.
• Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.
• Routine upkeep of exterior areas, sidewalks, green space and parking lot.

Specifications

• High school diploma/GED
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Experience with skid steer and forklift would be helpful
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision with strong attention to detail
• Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds as necessary
